Water Truck Assists to Smother Flare Up

Tuesday, March 6th, Central Prairie Co-op assisted City of Sterling crews to smother a flare up at the City Burn Site south of Sterling. Due to the high winds and the dry weather, fire apparatus resources were on call in other parts of Rice County and on standby for Reno County.

Central Prairie Co-op would like to say a big thank you to all those that keep our communities safe during dangerous fire weather.
